The Berlin Exhibition halls will be serving as the main venue. This year the industry event is returning to its original size, similar to how it was in 2019 at the Berlin Station. The exhibition space extends over six exhibition halls, and around 16,000 visitors are currently confirmed. Halls 18, 19, and 20 of the Berlin Exhibition venue will open their doors to welcome regular and new visitors. This year the spacious and light-bathed Palais outdoor area will also be part of the fair. Each hall area will feature different themes: Urban Gardening, Sensory Technology, Aperitivo, Urban Market, and Hidden Treasures. As its name offers a hint, the Hidden Treasures Hall will host an exclusive Speakeasy Bar. What’s more, there will be an aperitivo-themed bar where everyone can enjoy this beloved Italian tradition and its unique drinks.

Furthermore, there will be a special focus on other trend topics in the industry such as food pairing and the Young Guns area: a space where international industry newcomers have the opportunity to present themselves and their products.

Special guests and selected international bar teams are selected to be part of this much-anticipated event. This year participants will have the opportunity to enjoy exclusive cocktails made by Officine Sbiellate’s team of expert bartenders and mixologists. Since opening in 2016 Officine Sbiellate has had a steady presence in Milan’s nightlife scene, and its famous for its craft beers and trendy cocktails

For the first time, The DBU (The German Bartender Union) in partnership with BCB will have a two-part stand. In the first half, the focus will be on education: a workshop area where visitors can learn, try new things, and listen to interesting lectures. The second half of this area will be the exhibition stand, where visitors can do networking, exchange ideas, and learn more about the DBU while enjoying a delicious drink.

Bar Convent Berlin is the largest trade fair for the bar and beverage industry. It was founded in 2007 by bar and beverage experts Helmut Adam, Jens Hasenbein, and Bastian Heuser, and up to this day, it is the most important international event for the bar and spirits industry. It is well known that every year during this world-famous fair the crème de la crème of the European and German bar and alcoholic beverages scene gather to host and attend out-of-the-ordinary events.

Berlin is one of Europe’s trendiest and most famous places for nightlife. In this city, nightlife can be interpreted as a lifestyle and even a cultural movement. Historically and culturally it has been a way in which individuals have expressed themselves and even rebelled against oppression, making Berlin’s nightlife a significant part of its culture. Currently, there are thousands of bars and clubs where locals and visitors gather to meet for a low-key drink or to party the night away.

This is why there is no doubt that this city is the perfect stage for the Bar Convent Berlin where bar owners, bartenders, distributors, and manufacturers from all over the world visit this fair to learn about innovations in the beverage industry, attend seminars, and network with fellow attendees.
